About Me!

Hello! My name is Samantha Rich, and I’m an actor/singer/strong mover based in the San Francisco Bay Area (born and raised!) I primarily perform in musicals, but I also have experience in contemporary plays, cabaret, and choir/acapella. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hofstra University in New York, where I received my B.F.A. in Theatre Performance and minored in Musical Theatre. Today I am thrilled to be back in the Bay and dream of being fully bi-coastal in the future. Some of my favorite Bay Area credits are Emma in The Prom, Rapunzel in Into the Woods, and understudying Mary Robert in Sister Act. When I’m not performing I teach K-12 students at Musical Theatre Works and Inspire Music in SF.

Whether it be powerful leaders or quirky ingenues, I love telling the stories of all different kinds of characters. I strive to leave the audience wanting more regardless of the role. Most importantly, I bring an open mind and enthusiastic attitude to the rehearsal room to help foster an environment that is both collaborative and positive.
